METRO Q® Fare Card
The METRO Q® is our electronic fare card which acts like a “digital wallet.” This unique card contains a microchip that stores your cash balance directly onto your card. Fares are automatically deducted each time you pay to ride, just like a debit card. Customer should maintain possession of the METRO Q® Fare Card or any other fare item upon boarding the bus or train as proof of paid fare. You get free unlimited transfers in any direction for up to three hours.
METRO Day Pass
Similar to the METRO Q® Fare Card, the METRO Day Pass is a reloadable card that offers a whole new way to ride, unlimited local bus and METRORail service with just three paid taps of your card – never pay more than $3 a day. Customer should maintain possession of their fare item upon boarding the bus or train as proof of paid fare. You get free unlimited transfers in any direction for up to three hours.
METRO Money
METRO Money is our disposable smart card that contains a predetermined dollar amount for use in paying METRORail and bus fares. Customer should maintain possession of their fare item upon boarding the bus or train as proof of paid fare. You get free unlimited transfers in any direction for up to three hours.
METRO Money is available in these denominations: $1.25, $2.50, $5, $10 and $20.
